I am uninterested in recreating pretty, scenic views. My goal is to start with an acknowledgement of the landscape and move into colour, texture, composition, and emotion. Contrasting Landscapes is the culmination of many years exploration using this approach. Based in Vancouver, Seeberg inherited his interest in art from his father and grandmother, both talented painters, and pursued his love for drawing and painting throughout his life. Seeberg studied art at Vancouver s prestigious Emily Carr Institute of Art Design before pursuing an education in building design.
