The Delhi High Court asked the Centre and the city government to strictly deal with the contractors who fail to pay wages to workers at various Commonwealth Games sites in Delhi. HT Image The Court also asked both the governments, Delhi Legal Services Authorities DLSA and the NGO, which has been fighting for the rights of the workers, to work in harmony to ensure that the construction workers at the Games sites get all the benefits, including minimum wages. A Division bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justice Manmohan said the counsel for Union of India was told to instruct all the agencies, which have been awarded the work, to deal with contractors strictly so that there should not be any deviation in stanley bottles their dealings with the workers .
