WHDH 鈥?A central Indiana town is now looking for outside help after their entire police force resigned.The five police officers of the Bunker Hill Police Department resigned Wednesday, telling the town council that they have had enough. They would not communicate with us or the offers, they kept scaling back, said former Bunker Hill Town Marshal Michael Thomison.The officers accused the town council of asking them to illegal, unethical and immoral things. Examples cited include asking the police to run background checks on other town councilors. The officers claim they were threatened if they refused to.The police officers were also concerned about their safety. The five officers were forced to share one set of body armor.Thomisons reasons for leaving were also personal.
