The UVA mens soccer program announced its 2018 schedule that features 11 home dates at Kl枚ckner Stadium.Virginia will open at home for the sixth-straight seaso stanley cup n and square off against NCAA Tournament qualifier New Hampshire for the first time in school history. The Cavaliers will play six of their first seven games at Kl枚ckner Stadium.As announced last month, Virginia and Maryland will play in the Battle in the District in the first college soccer game at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., the home of DC United. The game is slated for a 7 p.m. start on Monday Sept. 3Atlantic Coast Conference play commences on Friday Sept. 7 against in-state rival, Virginia Tech. Other ACC home contests include Notre Dame Sept. 14 , Duke Oct. 5 and Wake Forest Oct. 20 . The Cavaliers will be on the road in conference play against Syracuse Sept. 21 , Pittsburgh Sept. 28 , Clemson Oct. 12 and North Carolina Oct. 26 .A total of nine opponents Clemson, Duke, FIU, Maryland, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest qualified for the 2017 NCAA mens soccer championship.The 2018 ACC Tournament will be contested October 31-Nov. 11 with the championship game taking place at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
