How to use Seasons:
Choose a season from the downloads page. Choose only ONE season at a time, you can manually switch seasons via your mod manager at any time. It is quick and easy for you to do this!

Make sure that you check for updates under the updates section as I frequently post bug fixes there.

I include both BA2 and loose file options. BA2 files have much better performance, but loose files will always override BA2 files so if you have other texture mods and they aren't BA2 files and you want Seasons to override them then you NEED loose file versions. Loose file versions are in the main download area and the BA2 files are under Miscellaneous.

COMBINED OBJECTS: If you disable combined objects in your .ini file, please just use the console to delete any unwanted trees, it's the best
way.

select the tree in the console, enter:
disable

if the tree disappears it's safe to then enter:
markfordelete

if something ELSE disappears or you can't tell what disappeared, enter:
enable

so you don't accidentally disable something you shouldn't.

I do NOT support problems caused by disabling combined objects and I design Seasons around not using that edit as it causes massive fps loss for me especially in Boston.

Thank you so much to Hodilton for this (extremely out of date) feature video of Seasons paired with Subtle ENB!SparrowPrince has kindly and spectacularly created and allowed me to add a Snowy LOD for use with Winter.
It is now included in Winter.

**Winter LODs can be safely used alongside SparrowPrince's FAR - Faraway Area Reform (LOD)It does replace the diffuse maps, but the bump maps will still work. If you use FAR overwrite the noise file with the Season's one.**



These Seasons packages also look cool with the addition of More Grass Low by Meltus. Recommended More Grass Low is in Optional Files section. You can add Snow to your Winter season over at Vivid Weathers.

Inspired by pictures of modern day Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Bikini Atoll (23 nuclear devices!) and Chernobyl.

This Mod may drop your FPS: Textures range from vanilla to 4k (there are some vanilla 4K textures by the way!).

AVAILABLE SEASONS:

FALL SEASON - Bright autumn foliage and plants. Harvest time looks for appropriate crops.
WINTER SEASON - It's snow everywhere folks! Most everything is dead or dried out or slumbering. (Try Nuclear Weather - SNOW as an add-on!)
SPRING SEASON - Quite colorful! Green time for crops, and bright blooming flowers and plants! Green and Lush.
SUMMER SEASON - Less bright greens, few flowers, harvest time looks for appropriate crops. Hot and Dry.

MOD CREDITS (All assets from the below mod resources are already included and used with full permission of the original authors.)

Most textures are now by frogprincessQ4, but originally the textures for the Seasons Project were painstakingly hand selected, switched around, mixed & matched, optimized, recolored, or otherwise tweaked to suit the Season they are in, by GameDuchess. The result is a complete overhaul for each season.

A Little Bit of Green, All Tree Have Leaves, Tookies Textures Grass and Plants, Touch of Green,
Trees Have Colorful Leaves, Winter Wonderland, Nuclear Winter Wonderland, Divine Revelation - (A note on this mod, which has been removed from Nexus. I asked for and received direct permission from all the mod authors who - I believe - may have had some of their files incorporated into DR. If I have missed something, I hope that I will be informed so that I can correct any error. Most DR assets replaced in 3.0 versions.)

COMPATIBILITY

This mod just replaces/adds textures and some few meshes. Should be compatible with just about everything, but may overwrite some textures for Seasons effects. Compatible with True Storms and Vivid Weather. Add on Nuclear Weather (link above) for snowstorms, and more additional weathers too.

INSTALLATION

BACK UP YOUR DAMN DATA FOLDER AND SAVE GAMES BEFORE YOU INSTALL ANY NEW MOD! Just saying. :-)

Nexus Mod Manager - Download using the NMM button and then install, or download using the manual link (RECOMMENDED) and copy folder into your NMM mod manager and install. Big files sometimes corrupt or break when using the NMM button to download.

Manual Installation - I REALLY recommend using NMM to install. If not, however, download using the manual link, then BACKUP YOUR DATA FILE FIRST, unzip the .rar file and drag the contents into your data folder and overwrite when asked.

Any Other Mod Manager - I don't use them and know nothing about them, so proceed at your own risk.

UNINSTALL

Nexus Mod Manager - Just uninstall using the NMM function. * There have been a few reports of not all textures uninstalling when uninstalling a Seasons package. This is NOT specific to this mod. I have experienced this bug with Nexus Mod Manager when installing and uninstalling other texture mods, such as Grafix and Vivid Landscapes.

Uninstalling manually is a lot more complicated now than it was when Seasons started out. You will need to check the contents of the relevant download to see which files need removing, as files are no longer restricted to two main folders.

Manual Uninstall - I really recommend using NMM, but if not, you'll be needing that backup Data folder you made, you crazy person.

Any Other Mod Manager - I don't use them and know nothing about them, so proceed at your own risk.





FO4 Seasons - Autumn 3.5.1 - All-in-One - BA2 Version

INSTALL ONLY ONE SEASON AT A TIME! Autumn package for base game and all DLC textures. Uses BA2 files for performance. No major changes, but includes glowing tree patch and fixes the NukaWorld crash bug




FO4 Seasons - Autumn_GoldenGrasses 3.5.1 - All-in-One - BA2 Version

INSTALL ONLY ONE SEASON AT A TIME! Autumn with Golden Grasses for base game and all DLC. Uses BA2 files for performance. Brings my Golden Grasses mod over to Seasons and it no longer requires any other files. Works well as a late Autumn look.





FO4 Seasons - First Frost (Lite) 3.5 - All-in-One - BA2 Version

INSTALL ONLY ONE SEASON AT A TIME! Includes Base game and all DLC, but does not require DLC to work. BA2 version. BA2 version HIGHLY recommended for performance, but be aware of BA2 shortcomings (see sticky). Mostly vanilla with just a touch of snow.



FO4 Seasons - Spring 3.5.1 - All-in-One - BA2 Version
